Creative Coding

Codemoji’s Creative Coding camp is the perfect starting point for young learners to explore the exciting world of coding and computer science. Designed for students entering 1st and 2nd grade, this hands-on camp combines fun STEM challenges with engaging online activities to build problem-solving and creative thinking skills. Campers will program robots, play unplugged coding games, and use emojis to learn the basics of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript on our beginner-friendly Codemoji platform. With collaborative projects and step-by-step instruction, students gain confidence and a strong foundation to continue coding beyond the classroom.

(Grades 3-5)

Code It

Codemoji’s Code It program introduces students to the exciting world of coding and web development through fun, hands-on learning. By using emojis to represent real HTML and coding concepts, we make programming approachable (even for beginners!). Students will explore how websites are made, create animations and games, program robots, and take on fun coding challenges both on and off the screen. With expert guidance and plenty of chances to build and share their work, students leave camp excited about coding.

(Grades 3-5)

Game On

In Game On, students explore the basics of coding through the exciting lens of game design! Throughout the week, we’ll learn how animations work, build interactive mini-games like “Shark Eats Fish” and “Treasure Hunt”, and apply real coding concepts in fun, hands-on ways. By the end of the program, each student will have a small portfolio of games and a strong foundation in how games are made.
